Heated Hand Grip for Archery Bow, Patent #5,934,267 About Briner Technologies, Inc.

In the winter of 1998 during the archery hunting season I had a revelation after hanging onto my cold archery bow for endless hours and complaining to everyone who would listen about how cold the grip was during the winter months . The more I talked to archery hunters I found that it was not just me but a common complaint among a big majority of archers. So I set forth to develop a "Heated Hand Grip for Archery Bow". After a few months of research to see if such a product would be practical for the bow hunter we came up with a crude product that worked. In August of 1999 I received patent, #5,934,267, for "Heated Hand Grip For Archery Bow". After many additional years of development and research I have come up with what I believe to be the ultimate hunting accessory for the bow hunter. This year we are introducing the model 100 DragonFire ThermoGrip.

The DragonFire ThermoGrip consists of an etched foil heating element with 3.62” of heating surface. It adheres around the front of the bow and does not hinder the archer in anyway. The stabilizer bar is a weather resistant battery housing which holds 4 AA batteries. It is filled with a vibration dampening compound. The differentiating feature is that I have turned the stabilizer into a power source which supplies energy to the heating element. This is the first and only product on the market with such capabilities.
